When i export my track, i quite often get like a fade in for the first half a second, or sometimes the audio plays out only the left channel for half a second. Always right at the start, it's fine after that.

Any ideas what's going on here?

If it is only at the start and without any details of what plugins you have or system you are on or anything, first workaround that comes to mind is simply moving everything in your project a bar to the right so you have a small amount of dead space at the front to hopefully allow plugins to initialise and start working before they begin running audio.

Also, make sure you export to the same sample rate that you have set in your preferences for the project. If you have audio preferences set to 44.1k for instance and decide to export at 96k this causes all your plugins to reset their internal sample rate which can cause issues when exporting.

Yes ive found out it was the slate digital plugin FG-X.

It's probably worth reporting to Slate Digital...
Also if you can check in another DAW, just to be sure that Live isn't the culprit here.
