Enabling Warp lowers quality--Urban Myth?

Post by sambaji » Thu Jul 08, 2021 5:59 am

Hello,
I've read a couple of times online that it's best to leave audio tracks unwarped, unless warping is necessary, to preserve quality. Is this the case if all I do is enable warp without doing any time-stretching? I like being able to easily loop audio using the bar markings. If I disable warp the bar numbering disappears. Is it an urban myth that simply enabling warp, without doing anything else, affects audio quality? It seems to me that just enabling warp simply marks the beat and bar structure. Thanks, Sam

Just found a thread asking the same question. It appears only enabling warp does not affect sound quality. viewtopic.php?t=58098

The best resource is the source itself...
