Clip time signature denominater

Why can I set the Clip time signature denominater only to 1 2 4 8 16?
How to set the note grid to an odd number without changing the Set signature?
Example I want one Clip with 7 steps that last 1 Bar (3 seconds), and one Clip with 4 steps last 1 Bar (3 seconds). The simplest way seems to set the Clip Signature to 7/7 at one clip and to 4/4 to the other.
So please let us set the the Clip time signature denominater to any value.
