Hi there,

I was on Live version 11.0.2 - my Ableton Live crashed due to a full disk.
Every time I tried to restart it gave me an error until it really crashed and all I could see was "verify your license", like I was starting from scratch to use Ableton.

I verified the license it update 11.0.5 automatically, my collections all gone.

1. How do I recover these collections?
2. If I had to rebuild my collections how I make sure it is saved and backed up - cuz as far as I am concerned they are just tags, correct?

Collection tag data is stored in the same folder as the tagged item for user folders added to Places (in a hidden "Ableton Folder Info"), and inside the User Library for tagged items from User Library and Packs (again in a hidden "Ableton Folder Info"), kinda hard to lose them by accident and they should be backed up with the tagged items.

If you mean only the Collection names were lost, IMO it is faster to simply rename them again, instead of trying to find the data in a older install.

If you mean you only see one color, then hover the mouse over the "Collections" title, it should show an "Edit" button you can click.
