How to Generate a Sine Wave at 1kHz? (for Unity Gain)

I'm trying to set unity gain throughout my recording setup and I read that establishing an output signal using a simple sine wave at 1kHz is a good source to use. How can I generate that in Ableton using stock software? Thanks!

Comes quite in handy. Great for testing a room's bass response.
That said if you need something directly in DAW, Operator generates pure tones, and there are also test tone files online you can download.
