Hey guys, I want to know your go-to methods to make things sound better. Preferably Ableton Audio Effects, and creative ways to combine them.

For instance, I've got these tricks:

Want a beautiful preamp sound?
add envelope follower mapped to dynamic tube drive

Want an extremely transparent doubler?
take any audio effect (or instrument), ctrl + g (group), duplicate chain, add utility to each chain and select "Left," and "Right" then pan respectively

How about more consistency/sustain?
add a compressor, makeup on, RMS, Threshhold -infinity, ratio < 4.00, lookahead 10 ms, attack < 1 ms

How about inharmonic distortion?
Create a return with Corpus, set to membrane, set "High" resolution, set listening to 100% L, and 100% R, spread about 14%, LFO amount < 1 %, rate < 1 hz, decay 1-2 seconds, material -20 % to 20 %, add "inharm" to taste, add return on any given track

I frequently combine these techniques and others, but I'm sure there are plenty of great ways to make Live's stock plugins sound better. If you have some, post them here!
