Pitch effects

I own Ableton Live 11 Standard. I am looking at the audio effects that come with it and there is a folder named "Pitch & Modulation". Within that folder I see 4 sub folders. Auto Pan, Chorus-Ensemble, Frequency Shifter, and Phaser-Shifter. Am I missing something, or are there no actual pitch effects in the "Pitch & Modulation" folder? Would they be somewhere else?

No, there isn't any strict pitch effect "audio transposer" (currently

)
You can achieve something alike through "grain delay" . Set on dry wet 100%, 1ms time and low Values in spray and freq. And then automate pitch.
I assume you can't use Max for live with standard, because there would be several devices for the purpose.

"Pitch" is a subcategory of "frequency", Vibrato in Chorus-Ensemble is pitch modulation.
But there is definitely space for some more nice FX in that category.

Hmmm, so Ableton provides no real pitch effects in a folder they label "Pitch and Modulation" (other than vibrato, which is barely the pitch type of effect that one would associate with the actual word "pitch")?

Well like Pottering said, Vibrato IS a pitch effect. It's arguably the oldest pitch effect humans ever invented. Frequency Shifter as well does some things in the pitch domain. So while it might not contain the effects you were expecting, the name still fits.

I am attemping to take a recorded phrase and bend the pitch up over time, so that it ends at a higher pitch than when it starts. I guess I was expecting too much when I thought that an effect like that would be in an effect folder titled "Pitch & Modulation". Womp, womp.

You can easily achieve that by automating the pitch inside the audio clip, with the clip automation (just don't use Beats algorithm, it doesn't make you audition any pitch bending effect)

The "sub-folders" are the devices. Double-click Autopan for example. The items in the Autopan "folder" are presets. Double-click click one to see what happens.
