mDNSResponder and CPU use in Live
Re: mDNSResponder and CPU use in Live
You need to untick the Usage Data tracking option in Massive and Absynth (standalone version). It solved the issue for me
Re: mDNSResponder and CPU use in Live
it's not activated and i don't use them
Re: mDNSResponder and CPU use in Live
yes, perhaps.. i'll try to find out .. (any idea how to do this? perhaps install a firewall.. the apple firewall is activated)
Re: mDNSResponder and CPU use in Live
Check iCloud and your Applestore account. If you are connected, it may cause issues (specially if you are offline and they want to connect but don’t understand they can’t)
I have this issue since years and never use Live if iCloud is activated.

Re: mDNSResponder and CPU use in Live
Cloud/dropbox services can make Ableton glitch, so always worth checking just in case.
Live 11, M1 Mac Mini, Push 2, Scarlett 18i20 & ADA8200, Softube Console 1 Mk2, Deepmind12, Hydrasynth, Cobalt 8M, Moog Subsequent 25, IK Uno Synth Pro, Plethora X3, Nord Drum 3P
Re: mDNSResponder and CPU use in Live
i think i've found the solution:
the problem was only with my v10 projects in Ableton 11.
after saving them in the new v11 format the problem is gone.. i think and hope so..
i will test it with more projects now..
