Livid DS1 - Disconnect Faul

Hi Guys,
I've tried posting something about this on the Livid forums but the last post there was from 2019 and the support link on their website is not directing, fingers crossed its a more general issue that might be fixed through Ableton so apologies if this is a little off topic and thanks for any help in advanced.
I have just got a Livid DS1 to perform live and I have a strange problem with it - it disconnects itself at seemingly random intervals and will then 'reboot' itself after about 10 seconds. I'm wondering if anyone out there might be able to offer some pointers by way of troubleshoot tips or maybe you have had a similar experience with a usb device before.
