Playhead will shoot past endmarker

I have a sample looped at "1.2 bar" and global quantization at 1/16.
If i play with the "LOOP" button in the clip (turning it on/off) while I'm triggering the clip at 1/16 repeatedly. The playhead will shoot past the endmarker and play the rest of the sample.

The end of the loop and the endmarker are both at "1.2 bar".

This is with Live 5.01
Dual g5 1.8/osx 10.4.2

Cheers

This has happened to me too......also every so often when I have a loop set up and jump around the file while it's playing the playhead just carries merrily on is way regardless. Also, is the on the fly loop meant to follow any launch quantise setting or is it hardwired to always do a legato jump into the next loop??

I have this (or similar) problem as well.

In 4 I used to be able to set a loop for say 2 bars (Global Quantise set to Bar) and as long as I moved the loop forward with the cursor in the second bar it would continue playing without any problems.

With 5 It seems to hang slightly in the previous loop and then just jumps to the new looped section. But not at the start. Causing an audio jump and glitch.

I used to use this all the time in 4, but it is unworkable in 5.

I've not tried 5 on my laptop which is a higher spec, but shouldn't really have any problems on the desktop as it runs everything else without a problem.
