I often want to consolidate clips but keep their gains consistent with the original files. This would be helpful for sharing edits with a mixing engineer, for instance. Currently, when consolidating clips, Ableton Live also normalizes them, which means that I can't share the consolidated files without re-exporting them at the correct gain (and therefore having to deal with file names and locations). I understand that this allows the maximum precision of sample values in the rendered file, but this is often unnecessary if there are no effects or gain being applied to the original tracks.

It would be nice to be able to consolidate tracks without applying gain to the rendered files.
