Ableton bounces master channel incorrectly when you have one long audio track that you've made various splits to, and you have automation on the bpm on the master channel.
To reproduce:
To reproduce:
- load a long audio file into session view (like 2+ minutes long)
- duplicate track
- pan each track hard L/R
- create envelope on master track for bpm and set start of track to 120 and end of track 130
- perform numerous splits (Ctrl+E) on only one of the copies of the audio track. do not actually move anything, just split
- playback near the last 20 seconds of the track - sounds perfect.
- bounce master channel. playback - you should hear significant timing discrepancy between L and R tracks. The track that had the splits will be delayed with respect to the original; the more splits the more delay. You can also load the bounced track into live and observe the timing discrepancy between L and R channels visually.
