Maschine Note repeat Vs Ableton arpeggiator

Hi,
I use Maschine standalone with the note repeat function turned on, it gives great jamming results. But when i try this on a midi track in Live with an arpeggiator (set to 16ths also) it never feels as fluid. Maschine note repeat always feels more lively and responsive.
Is there a difference between the two?
Would love to find something for ableton that captures the same feel and flow as note repeat does in maschine.
