Newby - One Step at A Time -- Can't Hear Both Midi Tracks

I recorded 2 Midi Tracks. While I can hear each one separately I am unable to play both tracks back at the same time. Both channels will not "un" Mute at the same time. What am I not doing? Any explanation is appreciated. Thanks.
