Drum Rack Pad Colors

You can already change the colors of the correspondig drum rack pad tracks and these colors are reflected on the Push 2.
Why aren't the drum pads colored accordingly, they stay gray? Would find having them colored helpful. Or is there a reason against, I don't see?
