Altiverb

Hi all,
When inserting an altiverb 4 in Ableton 4.1 i get my stereo channel converted to mono. I found no way to avoid this behaviour in none of the altiverb modes (m-s, s-s, s-q). In bidule altiverb runs just fine... All other effects work fine in live.
I also tried with the live 5 demo - same problem there.
Is this a known issue or is there someone around here who successfully runs altiverb and live?
