I think it would be a first class improvement if, when step sequencing on the push in a mode other than 16 velocities mode, notes could be added at the velocity the pad was tapped, instead of at velocity=100 every time.

From using sequencers that support this (Roland R8, Linnstrument), it's so fast and intuitive that if Live were open source I would try and implement it as an option myself!

I like the idea.

This thing actually respects velocity with which you press notes in Push. You have like both step sequencing functionality and the 64 notes layout at the same time. It's a pity you can't see and move the insert marker from the Push though. Still a cool feature, nonetheless.

I’d love that too. Maschine is also natively this way and so far it’s the only thing I miss
