Is there a Max4Live that can quantize track muting?

This would be amazing for live arrangement!!! I would record my track muting in Arrangement Mode like usual but while being able to "launch" track mutes in quantized syncopation like we do clips in Session Mode. I used to do this using the Track Mute screen function on my Akai MPC2000XL.

Is there something like this for Ableton????

Use dummy clips.
M4L API has too much latency.

Thanks for the reply. But, in this case, I don't want to use Session Mode clips. I want to "trigger" the mute button in perfect sync with the beat in Arrangement Mode LIKE we can clips in session mode.

Can you explain why using session clips would not work in your case ?

A few reasons:

1. As far as I know, there's no way to mute and unmute session clips. There's only a way to stop them and relaunch them from the BEGINNING of the clip (right?). This is a problem if I have an 8 bar clip and want to stop the only bars 3-5 of that clip during a live performance.

2. I really don't like working in session mode. Arrangement mode is how my brain works. I would like to spread a basic 8-16 bar loop across about 3 minutes of space and record myself dropping parts in and out to create a full song arrangement in live time via the mute buttons.

3. There's no reason quantized launching of track mutes shouldn't be an option (This should've been reason #1)

It all depends on your setup, but you can :
Route a track to another track, monitored to IN. Drop two different audio clips (doesn't matter what because of the monitor set to off, you'll not hear the audio file). Automate the Mute to ON and OFF in the two clips. Set their Lanch quantize to the quantification you want. Map them to MIDI. Fire them via MIDI while recording the Arrangement.
