using ableton lite, how can I
* record track 1 without a click
* have ableton figure out my tempo and use for the project and other tracks?

I'm used to hardware loopers... I play in the drumbeat then record the rest of the tracks.

Check the looper section in the manual.

I think it’s there by default in Live but I’m not sure about lite. Select ‘set and follow song tempo’ in the tempo control section of the looper and it’ll set the tempo from your initial loop
