Long samples from Ableton Packs load instantly inside of Sampler but custom samples do not?

Long samples from Ableton Packs – such as the 30 minute samples included with the Spitfire Upright Piano – load instantly in Sampler.
These samples also make the Channel Selector buttons (B M L R) white instead of yellow.
Does anybody know why this is?
Is it possible to get the same loading speed with your own long samples in Sampler?
