"initializing midi inputs and outputs" frequently appearing

Hello,
My new Live 11 installation on a newly set up version of Windows 10 is showing a "initializing midi inputs and outputs" message in the lower right corner of the screen when playing. It also shows a "loading" ring next the cursor at the same time. This happens even if I disconnect all midi and audio devices from the computer.

Did you ever gain resolution to this issue. I'm experiencing the same issue now. I have a new MacBook Pro M1 Max, macOS 12.1 and Ableton 11.0.12.

Is your audio/midi interface compatible with m1 macs?

My UA Apollo 8 is compatible, but I don't use midi through it. All of my midi is through USB, except for one midi I/O device, which is not plugged in at the moment.

Did anybody get a resolution to this? I am getting it all the time and it is killing my session. I have a lot of tracks loaded and it takes AGES to complete each time it happens and whilst it is happening all I get is the spinning wheel of doom (MacBook Pro)

Seeing this on M2 Mac Mini but was also getting it on my Windows machine.
I was using a USB hub on both machines and was wondering if anyone else who has the problem was using one too?
The issue seems to happen after about 30-40 minutes of using Live.

Hello did anyone find a solution for this issue? I keep getting this problem from time to time which makes working in Live almost impossible.

No, Windows 11.
