Curious if anyone else has come across this issue.

So far as I can tell it's only Arturia Pigments 3.5 in VST3 that crashes Ableton. VST2 loads fine.

Just uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version of Ableton but still crashing. I've emailed Arturia support as I assume it's on their end but figured I'd see if this had happened to others.

It happened to me right after updating Pigments. I did a full uninstall of Pigments using the arturia software centre, rebooted and reinstalled and it's working.
It shouldn't make a difference, but try it a couple of times maybe...

I have the same problem after updating to pigments 4. tried to reinstall, but did not work. vst2 works, but vst3 makes ableton crash. Will mabye try to uninstall, reboot an reinstall.

Are you on Windoze or Mac:?

I don't own pigments, but I can install and test it in demo mode if you are on Windoze. If it's mac, I won't bother.

If you're running on Windows 10+ try changing the compatibility mode of Live to Win 8 or 7. This solved MANY issues I've had with plugins old and new.

I think we lost the person who bumped this

I'll install pigments anyways and check it, just in case.

If anyone is still interested, I could not get this to crash (see specs below)

That doesn't mean there is an issue just not sure what crashed it for you.

Tested a bunch, and bought for 60 bucks on knobcloud. The OP from way back (and the bumper) might be long gone, but I think I got a beauty!
