Live arrangement mode does not draw full waveforms sometimes?

Sometimes (often) when I record into the arrangement mode (or drag session clips into it), Live will not draw the full waveform. It plays fully, so it's there, it's just rendered incomplete, visually.. Is there a reason for this?
