Removing Unlisted MIDI Control Surface

Live is automapping parameters to "Control Surface 7" which was an MPK Mini Mk3 that is unplugged and currently unused. I've tried removing and reinstalling the drivers etc. completely, I've tried removing the MIDI remote scripts. Ableton Support can't seem to tell me anything other than to disable the device in the midi preferences, but I can't. The list stops at Control Surface 6. Can someone please tell me how to access the control surface list in the system files, or any other way to resolve this? Thanks. -B
