As im somewhat getting more familiar with ableton live i have a question, what is the difference between arrangement view and session view? only thing i noticed is when i use arrangement view none of the tracks can be played on my launch pad. Would that mean session view is for playing around with my launchpad while arrangement view is for puting whole beats together? sorry i'm still a noob with this software

Arrangement View is for playing Clips locked to the timeline in the exact specific timing and order you set the Clips in each Track.

Session View is for playing Clips independently of the timeline, in any order and any time you want to.

You can use both together, for example you can set some Tracks to play in Arrangement (that is, playing Clips in the specified time and order) while you use other Tracks to play Clips in Session real-time. Or you can simply use Arrangement to record what you are playing in Session.
