New Live 5.0.1 user: can't use demo "sets" ?

I played with the demo for days, purchased the physical box and got the download while I wait. It came with the same sets/wavs as the demo version but I can't use them in the commercial registered/activated product? There's a dialog that pops up and everything letting me know that should I use demo sets, I can no longer save.

What do I do? Am I now stuck without a sound library until the box with the extra CD arrives? I'm not too worried as I'll be recording my own live stuff, but why is this limitation there and how do I get over it?

I've done so many cool things I couldn't save, which got me interested in purchasing Live, but now I can't recreate anything I stumbled upon that was interesting.

That's just cruel hehe.

I think the sets you're trying to open contain an Operator instrument, which is not part of the original Live5 but something to purchase separately. That would be the reason, isn't it ?

Oh I'm sorry, I meant clips. Like one called "Dirty Silicon". But yeah, it uses the demo of Operator. I guess that would be the limitation. I can't drag the Operator demo object out either and get a similar 'switch to demo mode' warning.

Oh well. C'est la vie. :)

Yeah it is the same with clips. As soon as Operator is dragged, being with a set, as itself or within a clip, you'll get this demo thing. Otherwise you'll be fine.
Lots of clip don't contain Operator, and lots of demo sets too.
