So, I've been using my Push 2 now for about 3 years and have an intermittent issue on some projects where the console screen fails to display anything. I had the problem from the outset, and I recall contacting Ableton Support who told me the usual 'never seen this before' and something along the lines of 'must be an OS thing etc'. So I learned to live with it...

Just bought a new MacBook Pro M1 and hey presto the exact same thing is happening.

Has anyone seen this before. Or got any suggestions on how to fix it.

Thanks. Yes a while back and it was still giving the same problem. Could dig another one out and give it another try. Switching it off and on multiples times sometimes works, and has done so right now....

It never happens on new projects. Only on a select few and as I say intermittent. Which is why I though maybe it was something to do with my iMac. But obviously not using that now.

Firmware is 1.0 Build 71 which I assume is the most up to date?

When it happens have you done the old "turn it off/on again" routine?

I am on Windows for Live and have this issue crop up occasionally, load a project and Push is just blank. If I cycle power on Push it comes good. Been happening for years and it's one of those CBF type issues that I just deal with and press on. Pretty sure there is some little bug there somewhere but really can't be bothered to spend the time to gather all the data and report it when a simple off/on will fix it for me.

Hope. Black screen still happening. Tried turning off and on, new cable, unplugging, preferences unlinking the device etc. All to no avail.

Really weird that it only affects some projects and sometimes completely goes away with the screen working again.

Only some projects? Which Live version are you using?

I have encountered the same problem after updated to intel version Live Standard later Live Suite on my late 2014 iMac using Big Sur updated version. The old version of Live Standard never happened such hung problem. Have to turn off the Push and turn it on again and then worked for awhile. It must be the new version of the Live 11.

Works fine here Live 11 Mac M1 mini.

1. Freeze and flatten tracks that are suspect (e.g. Native Instrument plugins ).
2. Save the project.
3. Quit Live.
4. Turn off Push 2, then turn it on.
5. Launch Live.
6. Open the project.
