I'm using a Spanish keyboard and the command CMD+OPT+L is not working. This is such an essential shortcut to have, Ableton needs to fix this asap! There is no other function assigned to these buttons so why wouldn't this work?

If anybody knows a workaround let me know!

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but just a heads up this key command was removed in Live 12 too.

I didn't know some people had issue with it.
Good news for mac users, there's another one, that's better imo: Shift+F12
Bad news: it's currently removed in L12 (but a lot of people are complaining about it, so fingers crossed...)

Just noted this is listed as

[CTRL][ALT][L] or [Shift][F12] [CMD][ALT][L] or [CTRL][Shift][F12]

in the Ableton 12 Manual. Perhaps it is a bug or oversight. If we all log a call with support it may get fixed?

For the time being, here's a simple M4L workaround device.

Yup! Came here to request that this feature be improved or reset as well. I've been a frequent user of Cmd+Opt+L to to hide/show detail view and it's absence is handicapping the workflow that I've grown accustomed to over the last ten years.

This command was replaced in Live 12 by Cmd+Opt+3 and Cmd+Opt+4 because of the new stacked view functionality, so my workaround was to use the MacOS keyboard settings to re-map Cmd+Opt+3 to the original key command (Cmd+Opt+L). The problem is that the key command doesn't close the window; it only opens the window. So I can't even recreate the toggle functionality of Cmd+Opt+L from Live 11.

Please consider returning Cmd+Opt+L to it's original function, or at the very least allow Cmd+Opt+3 and Cmd+Opt+4 to toggle the windows and not simply open them.

Also, the new commands Cmd+Opt+3 and Cmd+Opt+4 are not very comfortable key commands compared to Cmd+Opt+L, and thus are pretty terrible when you need to navigate around a session quickly. Overall this change is a downgrade when it comes to ease and speed of use.

At least on my Windows Installation of Live, Cmd+Opt+4 (Ctrl+Alt+4) toggles the view, just like the old command Cmd+Opt+L (Ctrl+Alt+L) .

I would also like CMN/OPT/L to make a come back not sure why anyone would remove something so useful.
Really wondering what the reason for that could be.

It's back in the current L12.0.5b beta, so it'll be back for everyone soon.

Actually, I'll add one additional request; that Cmd+Opt+I be returned to it's original function of toggling the channel inputs view in Arrangement View.

In Live 12 that key command now reveals the inputs in the Mixer view (the window that appears in Arrangement View). If I wanted to see the mixer view I would simply hit Tab to reveal it. I hate that this new ability to display the mixer controls in Arrangement View is overriding the usefulness of Arrangement View itself.

I'm down for being able to configure your windows any way you wish, but having a mixer window in arrangement is redundant and it's knee-capping the functionality of arrangement view, where I almost exclusively do my work.
