Permanent Signal from Midi

Hi everybody,

since a few days I´m working with a NI Maschine MK3 & and Maschine JAM. Today i recognized, that on the right top corner from Ableton Live it looks like a permanent Signal from Midi comes in, and the CPU is working on 27-29% all the time (it switches very fast) - see pictures behind the links.

Can anyone tell me if this is normal, or do I have to change some preferences to kill this?

Thank you in advance and all the best wishes!

Marco

Hi @an_alien,

Could you please send us a screenshot of your midi preferences ?

We need to know if those machines are set up as "control surfaces".

Does it happen on a clean / new session ?

This little blue indicator on your picture tell us that Ableton sends out midi data "because of a new or changing remote-control assignment".

This output flux can be "normal" when a control surface is set up - although I don't even remember if this indicator will flash for control surface data flux...

So maybe do you have manually assigned some midi controller ?
