Dynamic EQ

It would be great to have something like the EQ8, but with dynamics - e.g. carving out bands for sidechain gain reduction

You mean something like this? You can build one yourself with a bunch of Autofilters + Envelope Followers in an FX Rack:

Its a neat workaround, but dynamic EQ is pretty much a sidechain go to these days. Would be good to have stock.
Of course, there is the option for vsts too.

+1.
I tried building one of these the other day. It was too complicated.
Making one with envelope followers and Auto Filters would not have the visual feedback of the genre of EQs that ProQ has spawned.
There are so many plugins that do this now that I'd say this should be a stock Audio Effect Device. Or it's a worthy candidate, at least.
