Granulator II clicking sound. Please help!

Post by ampism » Thu May 05, 2022 8:49 am

Hi,

I've been using the amazing Granulator II device for months, creating all kinds of wonderful ear gloop.
Last night however, I noticed a subtle click/pop sound every time a midi note was triggered. It happens when I use a keyboard (tried my nanokey 2, as well as usual keystep 37). Also happens when I create a midi clip and let that run.
I assumed it was something to do with the parameters in the device itself, but then I opened up an older project and the same thing was happening.

When I play another midi instrument (i.e not in Granulator) there are no clicks.

Am in the middle of making a record - this is such bad timing!

Any help/ideas would be very much appreciated. I've emailed Robert - waiting to hear back....

Should probably add - I'm using AL Suite 11, on a 2015 MBP . Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 AI.

Cheers

Paul

Seems alright here. Probably too obvious, but maybe check the envelope settings ?

Thanks @chapelier fou - I appreciate someone replying!
Yes, have tried a very slow attack rate, and messed around generally with envelope settings but it's not that.
Worth mentioning now, that I have deleted Ableton prefs, uninstalled and reinstalled Granulator II, and still no joy....
