Help please with Komplete Kontrol intergration

Hi all annoying issue here.
On creating a midi track using my Komplete Kontrol s61 mk2, using Komplete Kontrol. I can add an instrument all working perfect. Midi preferences are set correct, as per instructions, instrument works/ plays/ records, plug in intergrates with with hardware and software perfectly.
Problem arises as soon as I select a new track and then switch back to any track using KK, the NKI intergration (plugin mode) fails too work/ show on the hardware.
This is only a problem in Ableton as I also use Studio One 5 without this issue.
I really want to use Ableton as my main DAW , but this issue is holding me back.
I have tried
reinstalling Komplete Kontrol , several times cleaning registry inbetween/ after removing appdata folders etc etc . reinstalled the biome and NET software as recomended on a forum post.
Its an odd issue as one minute it all works fine untill I switch tracks. then it will not keep or i cannot restet plugin mode. Maybe im missing something silly / obvious
