I think it would be really neat to have to ability to have two tracks up, visible and editable. Perhaps also, be able to easily view both the midi, at the same time. Maybe another way to activate focus mode, while two of them are up? The box next to the signal chain seems like it might be a good spot for some settings. It would surely cause a little bit of crowding but, I think there is enough space in arrangement view to have two tracks open. I know it drives me a little crazy having to bounce between two tracks sometimes really far away. Maybe get crazy and make it a variable number have like 3 or 4 Food for thought.
