I have been trying to fix this problem for a week but its not happening please help!

Ableton Freezes/Hangs and i get the beachball whenever i try to put EQ Eight and adjust the filters. This is not the only instance it happens, sometimes it happens randomly and i have to close the app and reopen it so that i can continue. But in a matter for 4-5 minutes happens again

- Everything is up to date
- My Mac is strong enough to handle ableton
- I don't have CPU problems
- I have tried it in a newer Mac and same thing happened
- It happens even if i remove all MIDI and rest of the things that are plugged to the laptop
- I sent the crash logs to Ableton and sent several tickets, no response for a week.

I am running out of options please help!

Same! It happens on even 10% cpu usage when I add any plugin. It will start freezing and play cutting out audio for maybe 10 seconds at a time
