Turning off sustain pedal in session view

Hi.
I see a lot of posts regarding sustain pedal issues, but I can't find an answer to this question.
In session view, if I have a clip that is turning the sustain on, and I switch to a different clip that has no sustain info, then the sustain will remain in whatever state the previous clip left it in.
This also persists if I stop all clips, and if I press the global transport stop button. The global stop button will stop the sound, but as soon as I launch a clip, the sustain is still on.
I recorded a demonstration here: https://youtu.be/wFh0wCh7WkE
I have found two ways to get out of this state:
1: Locate the track that is bein sustained, and play a clip that actively turns the sustain off.
2: Close and open the project.
These both are very cumbersome.
How would you get out of this state? If you have a lot of tracks and clips, it can be hard to tell which one has been stuck with the sustain on.
Is there really no button to "release everything"?
