Good day people!

I can do different automations per midi clip of an external synth, but I cannot do different midi cc settings per midi clip: these settings apply to all midi clips in the track?
A partial solution is (in Ableton 11) to use 'macro variations'. Then you have different midi cc settings but in the same clip instead of different ones.

Anyone know how I can have different midi cc settings in a track per midi clip?

What do you mean ? You can automate any cc in any clip.

I don't mean automation of midi ccs, but simply midi cc values that I forward to an external synth via an M4L device. So no change of midi cc's over time...
I would like to send different midi cc values per midi clip to an external synth via this M4L device, and other midi cc values to another clip in the same track. So no automation…

You can just automate the CCs from clips though.
Or automate the knobs from you m4l devices.
Otherwise, sorry, I don't get it.

I can use this device in a track with midiclips, but I am unable to set different midi cc values per midiclip with this device?
The only thing that works is that I can set cc values for this device that apply to all midi clips in the track?

It's not so easy for me to explain, but you know what I mean?

eg. in an Ableton track of a drum machine, this device has certain values in the first midi clip, other values in the midi clip below, etc. ?
