Ableton Forum

Hi all,
I can play my composition - by pressing spacebar - just fine and can hear the work I have done (MIDI).

However, when selecting a new note, or adjusting the velocity of a note, in the editor why can't I hear the note and the velocity change? I have t play the whole track to hear the changes I have done. I am sure I am missing something.

There's little headphones icon at the top left hand side corner of the midi editor... turn it on

Dude, you are a superstar! I just spent an hour researching this! Thanks!!!!!

Little tip: this button is key/midi mappable too
