Has anyone been able to get transport controls working in arrangement view?

I have tried NI S61 and PreSonus Fader Port and all the transport controls do is move the arrangement insert marker, leaving the playhead in the same position. This means I can’t remotely control the start point of the song

Has anyone got this working with any controller? I’m starting to conclude it is bug with Ableton API

still rocking a venerable Mackie Control Universal Pro here and the transport controls work as expected. for example, the jog wheel moves the playhead when the transport is stopped.

Any chance of a video? I would love to see it in action. I can then raise it with Native Instruments without them blaming Ableton.

All I manage with my controllers is to move the arrangement insert marker. Initially they both move in sync but as soon as I press stop or add a locator , the next time I FF only the insert marker moves; which is useless in changing the start position

The link you posted seems to suggest a bug with the API

Native Instruments support have said it's a bug with Ableton and will raise it with their support
