I am using a emu 0404 sound card. My midi input is e-dsp midi port (df20) the track and the sync are on and the remote is off. My midi sync delay is at 0 and the type is midi clock.

Similar to my 4.1 set up even though the preference page looks different.

Thanks for any help.

Have you set up the audio drivers?

In my experience the best Drivers for sound cards with MIDI interfaces are ASIO. Try this if you haven't already, it's in Preferences>Audio. Select Driver Type: ASIO and Audio Device: E-Mu 0404

changed to emu asio and everything works fine. Makes sense to check before driving.

Thanks.

I always had midi latency problems. Not when playing live persay but when sending midi to a device and recording it's audio back into live, I get approximately 60ms of delay. Thats like old school..LOL Your saying your getting a 1/2 second= 500ms of delay..Thats ricockulous!
