Question: Clip Volume doesn't go to zero/silence?

Hey folks,
I just encountered something very strange and wanted to ask you pros about it. I have an audio clip in the arrangement view and turned the clip gain down to -inf. As expected he waveform now only shows a straight line but if I play the clip back I can still hear the audio it contains, albeit at a veeeery low volume. The channel meter barely moves but if I turn my headphones up it's clearly audible. Is that normal? I expected there to be complete silence when setting the clip gain to -inf. Maybe someone can clear up my confusion?
I'm running the latest verson of Ableton 11 Suite btw...
Thx in advance

Isn't is coming from an "analog modelled" plugin in your chain?

just tried this, can confirm.
an audio clip at -inf db into by a utility device (+36 db) bleeds audio.
an audio clip at 0 db into a utility (-inf db) into another utility (+36 db) doesn't bleed.
seems that the clip's -inf db setting is actually around -69.8db
the utility's -inf db setting also has some 'wriggle room' to make it also bleed while still showing -inf db.
worth letting support know i reckon.

Since Live 3, the first version where clip gain could go to -inf.

Thx for the replies guys. Good to know that it's not a problem on my particular system

I'm going to shoot the support team a message about it and will report back if and what they reply.

I contacted the support team as promised and they told me that this is a known bug that will we fixed in the future. They couldn't say when, though.
