Hey guys,
I am struggling with a really annoying problem lately, hope you could help.
*Quick Note- I assume thee following problem is by ableton, but it might be because of the third party I use (Native instruments keyboard and KK).

Alright-
1. I record a (beautiful) track using my midi keyboard
2. during the record I play with the midi knobs to record automations.
3. as soon as I stop recording, one automation becomes disabled, rest of the automations are just fine.
4. I re-enable it, and play the track, it runs flawlessly.
5. as soon as I pause again, the *same* automation goes disabled (repeat 4 and 5 for eternity.)

It happened to me in several midi files, in several projects.
I have updated the plugin (which is various synths from Komplete Kontrol).

REALLY annoying, any suggestions?

Maybe you don't have overdub enabled and you continued tweaking after the recorded clip started the first loop ?
EDIT : actually the Session Rec button (previously OVR) automatically turns off when you turn a recording clip into a playing clip. It's super annoying indeed.....

What is that same automation exactly? What parameter?

That sometimes happen with (faulty) 3rd party plugins.

Well, it's been a while and I tried to find a pattern to understand which parameter's automation turns off:
1. I understood it happens only in Komplete Kontrol (So far), so it might be just faulty plug in as mentioned above, other plugins did not have the problem (yet).
2. Komplete Kontrol lets you host other synths and instruments, it happens in many of them, in different parameters -so that's not simple as just saying 'level' or 'cutoff'.)
3. BUT, I also noticed (90% sure) that the faulty parameter is the parameter that is linked to the leftmost knob on my MIDI keyboard. (native instruments MK32).

I will try to un-link the knob and the parameter and see if there is any change, and update here as soon as I can..
