Combining core library from 10 to 11

Hello,

Just wanted to pick some brains here. I noticed some things missing in the core library of ableton 11 from 10.
I did combine the core libraries from both into 1 folder and it all loaded up in ableton 11.
The only thing now is I have many duplicates as well. From what I can see there doesn't seem to be a way within ableton itself to delete duplicate or organized the library. I've also been playing in a VM trying to delete duplicates in the core library folder but that seems to mess things up and put me back in square 1

Here is a link to some examples, let me know if these link do not work, I'll try something else

interesting I will have to take a deep dive into that. noted I am using the lite version of both 10 & 11.

So there were things missing from 10 to 11 in my sounds folder and when I would search for them. nothing would come up.

Thus why I copied and merge the core library folder from 10 with 11 and then things came up just there ended up being duplicates.

I don't think it is worth the work.

IMO, if it was deleted, either it didn't sound really good, or it overlapped too much with another preset (seems this was the case for many grooves, many were redundant), or even it became just a Variation in another Rack Preset.

Save only the ones you actually can remember and care about, not because of FOMO ( "fear of missing out").

That's really not recommended, just leave the Core Library and the Packs content untouched.
If there's e.g a L10 preset you've used in a live set saved in L10, it'll be there in your set when opening it in L11.
If there's stuff you really to "port" over then save this in you User Library.

Overall, Pottering's right.
