need to "compress" section 60-70 dB

I have a 1 minute section of complex sounds, orchestral type sound that I want to set min volume 60 db and max volume 70 db (just an example)
I looked at glue and the other compressor and it seems they are intended for short time like a kick drum etc.
(and they react too slow on my track)
point me to the right device or technique /settings
