There's gotta be some outside-the-box way to do it. I've spent hours. Although Izotope told me it's not possible. Which is an inexcusable design choice on their part. Here's a direct reply from Izotope customer support:
I don't know why I still try with Izotope. Always always always unhappy with their UI.In this case, please note that the only parameter in Stutter Edit 2 that can be controlled via track automation is the Global filter.
Note that all gestures can be triggered via MIDI but the specific effects in these gestures must be set via the plug-in UI (not automation).
