Ableton Note wishlist
Re: Ableton Note wishlist
Time signatures other than 4/4. I’m trying to do something in 3/4.
Ability to draw in notes. It’s difficult to play chords on a phone screen.

Add a button on the top of the screen to switch the keybed to fullscreen to expand the number of visible keys for more instant creativity.
Sidechaining
It would be great to have a slimmed down version of the compressor as an effect with the ability to Sidechain to the kick

It's the first iOS music app I've really used for music production because I don't have to export stems, I can edit the track completely in Live. It would be great to have another way to enter notes by drawing and then dragging. Especially on an iPad with a pencil. Modulation lines should also be drawable. Thanks

Thank you for this great app
I tried to connect my launchpad or digitakt to note using widi, but found that the app cannot send or receive midi clock. It would be good to have at least recieve option, because midi input already in the place.
Also, seems like midi input listen to all channels, and i cannot sequence more than one instrument by external device. Maybe it possible to set midi channel for track but i didn't find it.
In garage band there is a clock send feature, and play/stop signals.

Wow I actually forgot this app even existed! Long time gone from this forum.
I would use it again if I could use my own presets. (Creating them in Live then importing to Note would be fine) Meanwhile its just a toy to me personally. Im sure its more usable for others but I have a very particular style and I always make my own presets custom shaped to the track im working on at a given time. Sometimes I re-use those, and sometimes I modify presets not of my own making to fit my style.

I have a magic keyboard for my ipad - it works automatically for animoog, koala and a few other apps - really like it as an input for notes - even though I have a nano key . Koala maps it out nicely for either pads or qwerty style automatically depending on which part of the app your in. I'm presuming they do this with which ever qwerty keyboard accessory is attached . Would love note to act like this.
