I am so happy to finally see an official Ableton Live companion mobile app! I think this is a great start.

I hope you plan to continue developing this app, I would love to see some advanced sample editing features added for some more in-depth sound design possibilities.

I think the best part about this is Ableton Cloud. Such a great idea.

If anyone has any feature wishlists please add them below!

Lock function for sets ! I overwrite some loops of the demo sets , how can I replace it with the originals ?

The option for a lighter interface, not always a dark mode. I love the dark mode indoors, but I'm often working on music outside with the iPhone and it's pretty hard to see things now at times.

Love the app, but...
1. It would be great to have audio warping for samples, please.
2. More flexible MIDI editing with the ability to draw notes would be great.
3. Availability on Android would be a huge bonus, though I know it's a challenging platform. I use Steinberg's Cubasis DAW app on Android.

I won't buy Apple stuff so please support Android as well.

Just beginning...
- AUv3 support - if the issue is copying the set to Ableton Live, then any tracks with AUv3s could be bounced to audio
- naturally better audio import support and proper audio playback - check out the latest version of Koala Sampler for how sample importing could work.
- Better note editing... I didn't find it particularly straightforward to edit notes one by one or bar by bar and I can't zoom in or make certain screen elements a bit smaller.
- use of a meta key on the screen or some two or three finger gestures would be a great help at speeding making changes up.

I have made 4 song sketches so far and are starting to run out of sounds already. (Its fun!) However I really need to create my own synth presets if to move further with this app.

Would also love to see the Auto Pan plug in Note because I use it all the time, not just as a moving pan but also as the go-to rhythmic trance gate.

If additions are made, please don't increase complexity. Actually, I'd keep it the way it is. One of the biggest problems with Live is overwhelm - too many options. The big benefit of Note is that it cuts all that out so that you can make quick progress without going off into tangents.

Please give us the option to have a step sequencer like in Push.

Note can remain as simple as it is for all I care.

But we shouldn't be forced to record everything in real time. So I would like to see either a step sequencer or at least the possibility to edit a recorded event in all important musical properties. For me, this includes editing the note length.

Stem export with all effects tails trimmed to perfect loops.

Im really happy with the app. below is my wishlist.

- Transport controls. al though the midi capture way is cool, the option to use traditional play, stop, record, & play start would be nice.
- Stem/track export
- A couple more tracks
- Global Swing/auto quantize
- Mute/solo within the track and clip edit screen
- to be able to move and adjust notes (this makes up for lack of proper Adsr on some of the presets by adjusting note legth)
