Sometimes when Ableton starts (always?) the Ableton Web Connector process goes nuts and maxes out my bandwidth. Since I live on a boat and I'm using wireless sim cards, this is very concerning. 50Mbps/s is a great way to get my connection throttled to 1Mbit quickly. Today, it downloaded HALF A GIGABYTE before it finally stopped. What in the hell is this nonsense? No packs were downloading or updating.

Sounds like you have auto updates turned on, those can be disabled in the preferences.
