Simon Sebastian - II EP (chill/synthwave)

I released a 7 track EP called "II" earlier this week. It's synth-heavy and covers a bit of synthwave, chillsynth and even some dreamwave there.

DAW-wise, I have used Ableton (obviously) for some of the songs - mostly was keen to learn how to use Ableton properly after only very occassionally using it - but Reaper for the majority. Might not be a popular thing to say, given the forum I'm in, but I've since given up on learning Abelton as I found it quite slow compared to Reaper. And I love the ease of track routing in Reaper.

Instrument-wise I've primarily used the Arturia softsynths and a bit of Vital when it makes sense. I love Arturia's Minimoog and Juno and the majority of the sounds will be coming from those two. Drums are all samples of various "classic" machines with Sitala as the sampler, but with a heap of processing (on some tracks at least) to give them some extra lofi vibe.

As well as the electronic aspect, I also got a couple of friends to play on two of the tracks - one on guitar and the other on saxello. I didn't even know saxello was a thing before this collaboration, but now I do, and I like how it sounds.
