Mac M1 vs M2 - performance comparison

Hi all, thought someone might find this useful:

I have a Mac Mini M1 2021 8GB 128GB and a 2022 Macbook Air M2 8GB 512 GB. My interface is a Babyface Pro. With identical interface settings (48000 sample rate and 64 sample buffer), with the Ninajirachi - In the Rain (Live 11 Suite Demo) I get identical CPU performance with both computers as reported in Live's average CPU meter and in Activity Monitor.

With my own project pushing the computer more, the M2 shows better performance. In activity monitor 87% M1 vs 75% M2. In Live’s CPU, 45% M1 vs 38% M2 - so I guess improvement starts to show when pushed.

(Testing was with all apps closed except for Messages and Activity Monitor, with WiFi on, btw).
