Feedback: Capture resets too quick for slow songs

Didn't know where to post Note feedback, so here it is:

Capture resets way too quick when trying to write slow phrases.

It raises the question: Why have it reset at all? Why not just let users reset it themselves with the "X" button?

Would be great to be able to just start a slow phrase, and have the Capture keep running, acting as a true recorder. As it is now, it feels like the app is trying to force you into certain styles of music, or just plain not working right at all.

Again, no real reason to have it reset, unless maybe there are concerns about memory on old devices.

At the very least, maybe give users the option to turn off automatic reset? Because it'd be a MUCH better workflow to simply let users tap the "X" to start again.

I don’t have Mail installed, so the in app Feedback is useless.

I figured out what is going on:

You have to hold down a note to keep it from resetting. I was using relatively long ambient samples, and relying on the envelope release. If you hold the note down through the sample it works, because apparently the capture function relies on MIDI note information and doesn’t respond to sound.

Still shouldn’t reset though, just because a note isn’t played and you want silence there.
